Happy Mothers Day! From Sugar Free Photography | May 2016

This is my first year being a part of the motherhood mini sessions at Sugar Free. I was expecting moms and babies, sure. What I wasn't expecting was the amount of fun I would have interacting with each different mom. I fell in love with the whole experience, from the make-up, to the magic of each session.  

    Each mom arrived about two hours before her session time to be pampered by Elfie, our make-up artist. She really does a spectacular job of bringing out the best in each woman with a polished, natural look. She is also the sweetest person you can spend the afternoon with. The studio was full of laughter from both her and our moms. 

 When each mom was done with her make-up, she would choose her dress that we provided. The back studio space is all white and looks like a simple bedroom set, perfect for moms to relax with their little ones. I have to say, Amber does a fantastic job of capturing people looking peaceful and at ease. The stunning images she captures are due in part to the time she takes bonding with each person. She makes everyone around her feel comfortable, and that really shows up in her work. 

   The motherhood event is now one my favorite sessions, and I cannot wait to do it again next year! Enjoy some behind the scenes photos I took from the day.
